Horse N' Around/ PARK PLAY/ ART CLUB (DINNER INCLUDED) Wednesday PM DRAGONS & JRS (AGES: 5-9 & 10-12)

WE ARE NOT A SUPPORT NEEDS SPECIFIC PROGRAM BUT ALL HAVE SUPPORT NEEDS TRAINING AND OUR HOPE IS TO RUN PROGRAMS THAT CAN MEET THE NEEDS OF A LOT OF CHILDREN/YOUTH THROUGHOUT THEIR DEVELOPMENTAL STAGES OF 4-15+ WITH SMALL GROUPS, TAILORED PROGRAMMING, EMERGENT CURRICULUM AND TRAUMA INFORMED/ AFFRIMING APPROACHES. 

This session is for Youth who are working in grades 1-7 level goals developmentally.(Jr Assistants welcome 15+ ). In this session we will learn about Horses, other animals, and Nature. We will be exploring the Ranch Rain or Shine! Tutoring and Homework help also provided :)Youth in this program should be interested and OK with being outside in all weather.MANDATORY pack IN A BACKPACK:1. Rubber boots or Cowboy boots 2. A towel for sitting or drying off3. A change of clothes.4.HEALTHY Snack/ Lunch5. Water Bottle 6. Appropriate Attire for the season! (IE: splash pants, Muddy Buddy, bathing-suit, Raincoat.)

3:00PM-6:30pm (ISH) (KJ TIME)

2:45-3:00- Intro/ Hello

3:00-3:30pm: Grooming/ brushing/ General Horse-Care

3:30-4:45pm: Horse Care/ Turn Taking to ride (30 minutes minimum on riding days), Horsemanship. Games, Horse Care.

4:45-6:15pm: Park Play, MCDS, ART CLUB, DINNER PROVIDED!

6:15-6:30pm: Transport Prep,Goodbyes, Community drop-offs

Intro/Free Play, Horses, Emergent Curriculum, Low Arousal Approach to Learning. Outside Games, and TIME WITH KJ AND HORSES provided!
