PARENT AND CHILD THERAPEUTIC HORSEMANSHIP: INTRO TO EQUINE EXPERIENCES (AGES 3-10)

This session is for Littles & Dragons (3-10) that are starting out. Students in this Session are interested in Horses or like Animals. Their Parent/Mentors are willing and able to be with them and want to spend the session with them getting familiar with Horses, Experiencing the Therapeutic aspect of horses with their Kiddo.

This is for those who would like to enjoy the 1:1 Talking and problem solving times/games and mini lessons with KJ. 

**This session is meant to be an intro to one of our other Equine Experience or Adaptive Riding Programs**

In this session we will work on MUCKING/FEEDING/CAREGIVING... grooming, tacking, problem solving, memory, fine motor, gross motor, balance, memory and attachment to the horses. 

Please make sure you are dressed for the weather. (HAT, SUNGLASSES, WATER-BOTTLES, SNACKS, CARROTS OR APPLES FOR HORSES)

RIDING BOOTS, OR HIKING SHOES WITH HEALS ARE THE BEST FOR STUDENTS UNDER 10 WHO ARE JUST LEARNING 

We have certified helmets if you have not purchased your own. (We do Expect Parents Attending ongoing to have a Helmet for their Child Specifically.)

**SPRING AND SUMMER CAN BE HOT MONTHS, BUGS ECT. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CHILD ENJOYS SPENDING TIME OUTDOORS AT THIS TIME OF THE YEAR OR PREPARE TO TAKE BREAKS IN THE CAR OR GO FOR A DRIVE IF THEY NEED A BREAK. PLEASE ASK KJ FOR LOCATIONS WHERE THERE ARE SOME PARKS WITHIN 5-10 MINUTE DRIVE.**
